Welcome to the Shu Ha Ri Do website. Although Shuhari is a Japanese word, Shu Ha Ri Do is influenced by Kung Fu, Muay Thai, Wrestling, Jeet Kune Do and other systems. My title is Sifu however, I could have just as easily been called Shihan. The word Shu Ha Ri describes the stages of learning all the way to mastery. It is sometimes referred to in other disciplines, as Go. Shuhari roughly translates to "to imitate, to create, to master". This site is all about martial arts techniques, inspiring quotes, safety, awareness, and uncommon knowledge regarding self mastery under the Kingdom of Heaven. Interested in training in Shu Ha Ri Do martial arts visit 17842 S Dixie Hwy 33157 Monday and Wednesday 4:30 to 7:00 pm or contact Sifu G. at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Greetings everyone, peace and blessing to you. Below I am sharing two video clips of two of my advanced students testing for their blue belts. For those who are unaware Shu Ha Ri Do has 7 phases, blue belt is the 4th phase. These two students show excellent form for the level that they are at, of course I will only expect for that level to continue to “elevate”. I know it will. If you are interested in training or learning more about Shu Ha Ri Do feel free to leave me a message below. If you like this site and the youtube channel don’t hesitate to like and subscribe. Until next time enjoy the videos.
Greetings everyone, I am very pleased to make this post about an achievement of one of my students. He took first place in his division at the Bas I Kyokushin tournament in Arizona. As you watch the video there are certain elements about his movements that define what I teach the foot work, the timing, placing of certain kicks etc. He did very well representing Shu Ha Ri Do. I also want to thank Grandmaster James, and Hanshi Ali for their contributions to me and my students. My students and I love belonging to the Bas Kyokushin family. Shu Ha Ri Do Bas I Kyokushin indeed! Congratulations “Shen Sook” OSU!!!
Thanks for watching. Feel free to contact me if you would like to train with me. Every teacher offers something useful, some more than others. When I created Shu Ha Ri Do 21 years ago I took notes from everything, all styles, my competitions, animals, video games, movies and more. I decided I include only what I thought was the most useful techniques that wasted no energy. Among other big parts, not wasting energy is a big part of Shu Ha Ri Do. Feel free to leave me a message at the bottom and I will respond. Until then Godspeed everyone.
