Welcome to the Shu Ha Ri Do website. Although Shuhari is a Japanese word, Shu Ha Ri Do is influenced by Kung Fu, Muay Thai, Wrestling, Jeet Kune Do and other systems. My title is Sifu however, I could have just as easily been called Shihan. The word Shu Ha Ri describes the stages of learning all the way to mastery. It is sometimes referred to in other disciplines, as Go. Shuhari roughly translates to "to imitate, to create, to master". This site is all about martial arts techniques, inspiring quotes, safety, awareness, and uncommon knowledge regarding self mastery under the Kingdom of Heaven. Interested in training in Shu Ha Ri Do martial arts visit 17842 S Dixie Hwy 33157 Monday and Wednesday 4:30 to 7:00 pm or contact Sifu G. at email@example.com.

Hello, everyone, I share with you today another bit of wisdom as usual in parable, riddle like form. TRANSPARENT, BUT APPARENT. TRAINED EYES SEE…
In life there can be many traps set by very clever predators.
All of us would definitely call a spider an apex predator. What or who have you seen in this life can be compared to spiders.
Think of the very intricate webs they weave. Think of how clear and almost noticeable the webs are. How many of us to our terror have accidentally run into a spider web? Think of the panicked way we flail around trying to get untangled. Now think of an insect who runs into the same web and ask yourself if the insect had seen the web would he still have flown into it? Now as you know here at the “Warrior Wisdom Blog” I use a lot of metaphors. I leave you with a question on this topic. What are the webs in your life that you need to avoid…
And now a bit of good news! I have recently started a store based on my concepts I teach. Below you will find a shirt illustrated the article you just read. If you like my blog and have been inspired by what I share. Please Rep The “DO” by purchasing one of the awesome tee shirts on the site. The store is just beginning and there will be much more merchandise added in the weeks to come. Join me in promoting Warrior Wisdom by wearing merchandise with a wise message. The name of the store is The “DO” collection, DO means way in this case the “Way” of Shu Ha Ri Do Warrior Wisdom. You do not have to be a martial artist to be wise, but it is my goal that every Shu Ha Ri Do martial artist will indeed be wise. Godspeed in your quest.
Please be aware that human traffickers can come in three primary groups.
Choices of friends is so important. Please understand that their are certain habits that can expose you to a human trafficker. Parties, the club scene, drunkenness, drug use or “getting high”are risky activities and should be seen for what they really are “unwise”.
Sadly, in some cases family members have been known to sell their own. So, be aware, we live in a new world that is only getting more dangerous.
This is an obvious one. A wise blueprint is incredibly important when it comes to choosing a mate. So many of us having chosen unwisely at some point in our lives. My blog addresses this area and so many others providing a wise blue print for every part of your life is the goal of this blog.
3 METHODS USED TO BREAK OR ENSNARE A VICTIM
According to a CNN article, human traffickers can assume 5 roles in someone’s life, they are:
1. Pretender — Someone who pretends to be something s/he is not, such as a boyfriend, a big sister, a father (figure), etc.
2. Provider — Someone who offers to take care of an individual’s needs, such as for clothes, food, a place to live, etc or their wants, like cool cell phones, purses, parties, etc. (also hair-do’s, nails etc.)
3. Promiser — Someone who promises access to great things, like an amazing job, a glamorous lifestyle, travel, etc. (many use ads on job boards)
4. Protector — Someone who uses physical power or intimidation to protect (but also control) an individual.
5. Punisher — Someone who uses violence and threats to control an individual. When the previous disguises have been exhausted, an exploitative person often becomes a Punisher to maintain control.
I am very happy for everyone who read this article. It is my hope that I have enlightened you today, and that you are motivated to share this with your circle and those you love. If you want to learn more and if you would like to support my efforts to share wisdom with everyone please feel free to purchase one of my books below. It’s called “The Awareness Formula”, in this book I share a secret yet simple formula for safety and awareness. If you are familiar with my blog, you are aware of my habit for sharing uncommon knowledge. As with all of my books this book is filled with it!
If you are a follower or subscriber or a follower of my blog you are aware of my book “FLEX FIST BOXING”. In the video below I present more info on the concepts I teach. As I have stated before FLEX FIST BOXING is not a replacement for conventional boxing. However, it is an excellent compliment. I am absolutely confident that these concepts will enhance your boxing and self defense skills.
Greetings everyone, in this post I am pleased to share with you one of my “Flex Fist Boxing” principles. The “Hinge Fist”. I call it Hinge Fist because of the “opening door” effect of the movement, and because the joint of the arm actually works like hinges on a door. This is one of the “principles of speed” I write about in my book “Flex Fist Boxing”. Well, now that I’ve said that enjoy the video.
I am writing this article because I want everyone to have a clearer understanding of the mission of Shu Ha Ri Do. If you are a student, subscriber, or follower of this blog or the Shu Ha Ri Do youtube channel then you are already aware that I Sifu G. created Shu Ha Ri Do in 1998. Since then I have published 4 books and a magazine. The articles I publish on this blog are very helpful and thought provoking. However, I felt the need to formally say that my allegiance is to the Kingdom of Heaven, God, and his son Yeshua. However, I do not subscribe to a religious ritualistic view. I subscribe to a moral, truthful, honorable, faithful, bible based lifestyle. I call it a righteous lifestyle, a Kingdom lifestyle. Such a lifestyle that we would encourage our children to embrace. A lifestyle of helping, caring for, and protecting others. A lifestyle of leading by example. So, if you are familiar with the hundreds of articles I have written on this blog you will see this consistent theme. A theme that can be summarized with these types of words.
These words summarize what Shu Ha Ri Do is all about. These words outline the mission. The final words of protection and safety are vital to me. Vital because what good is love without protection, what good is morality without safety. No one should feel the least bit of guilt or hesitation about being prepared to keep safe those who are weak, at risk, or those you love. It is my hope that you are inspired by these types of attributes and find them just as valuable for children and families as I do. It is also my hope that wherever you are, you will be motivated to cultivate these attributes in your life and the lives of those you love. Until next time GODspeed everyone…
When it comes to greatness in anything, there is a thin line of separation. Finding that edge that will separate you from good to better is one thing. however, find the edge to greatness is very difficult and many don’t achieve it. In this video I appreciate George St. Pierre’s approach to finding that edge.
