Welcome to the Shu Ha Ri Do website. Although Shuhari is a Japanese word, Shu Ha Ri Do is influenced by Kung Fu, Muay Thai, Wrestling, Jeet Kune Do and other systems. My title is Sifu however, I could have just as easily been called Shihan. The word Shu Ha Ri describes the stages of learning all the way to mastery. It is sometimes referred to in other disciplines, as Go. Shuhari roughly translates to "to imitate, to create, to master". This site is all about martial arts techniques, inspiring quotes, safety, awareness, and uncommon knowledge regarding self mastery under the Kingdom of Heaven. Interested in training in Shu Ha Ri Do martial arts visit 17842 S Dixie Hwy 33157 Monday and Wednesday 4:30 to 7:00 pm or contact Sifu G. at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Think of life in society like this. Everyday you are being bombarded with new and old concepts, beliefs, trends, styles, and popular culture. Many never stop the onslaught to examine what they are seeing and hearing to find out that it is actually toxic and as destructive as a bullet. Unfortunately, as children we are programmed to believe everything that is promoted (make believe). So for many the programming we received long ago
continues with us saying “of course that’s true” professor so and so taught me that. The question is did you stop the “bullet” to examine it for yourself? Have you ever verified the things you “know” to be true? Like NEO in the Matrix clip below, just say no at what is being fired at you and take a closer look and watch the lies fall to the floor.
Once you start looking, at things. Once you begin to question the “unquestionable” you will be stunned at the real truth about what you “thought” you knew. You will begin to see the hidden “Code” of truth all around you. I know this to be true, it happened to me. The truth about life, creation, wolves, sheep, shepherds, and who your “real” ALLY is becomes crystal clear. You will not be the same once your eyes are open.
Regarding the subject of eyes. Indeed once they are open you will not even need them to block the attacks i.e. destructive elements of society. Those things that bring chaos to yourself and your family. You will simply “Know” what they are and that you and your household should have nothing to do with those things. These destructive elements can be in the form of people, concepts pushed through trends, styles, movies, songs, and other methods. Blocking those things out of your life will become effortless once your eyes are open to how destructive they are and that they exist for that very purpose. Places you will find tons of lies are food, medicine, history, science, our creator/Father, the Earth, and more.
Having a mental convulsion yet? In this article I am using clips from the movie “The Matrix” as metaphors for what’s really going on in the world. I want everyone to see that there is a method, a strategy to overcoming the “highly orchestrated” “highly weaponized” chaos aimed at everyone. Only you can say “no” to the “bullets” like Neo did (red pill). Or you can continue saying yes and being used as target practice (blue pill). It’s totally up to you.
A fuse box and a spinal column. What do these two images have in common? Scroll to the info-graphic below for further clarification…
Your spine is basically the fuse box of the body. Your nerves are like electrical wires delivering power to your limbs and so much more throughout the body. Your brain is like a power plant that the spine is connected to. How is you brain empowered? Righteously or un-righteously? Whose house are you???
What am I getting at in this post you ask? Well the title says it all. What kind of tree are you? In the bible Yashuah (Jesus) said a good tree cannot bear bad fruit, and a bad tree cannot bear good fruit. So, what kind of fruit are you baring? What kind of tree are you? What I mean by the statement “THE OAK IS IN THE ACORN” is that the the content within the acorn is the blue print for the oak tree.
Seeing what an acorn can become is pretty amazing. With that being said I must ask you, 3 questions. What is your content? What is your blue print? What will you become? “Becoming” is based on content, which becomes the substance of the blue print of your life. Content can be clarified by this phrase “source of learning”. What is your source of learning, is it based on materialism, partying, drug use, drunkenness, promiscuity, disrespect,
scamming, gossip, infidelity, anger, rage, betrayal, jealousy, envy of others, hatred, arguing, trouble making, bullying etc. Clearly, those things would be considered “bad fruit”, and no good tree bares bad fruit. So again I ask what is your content (type of learning). Are you in an environment that endorses those negative qualities, giving you a pat on the back for living that way? Are you constantly listening to music and watching “programming” that glamorizes those qualities? Meditate on this very carefully and be honest with yourself, when you do you will see clearly the things you must eradicate from your life.
Now, that I have covered that, the next question is, what should you add? Before I tell you allow me to clarify that what I share is not about religion, but relationship, and lifestyle, a Kingdom lifestyle. I do not view the bible religiously I view it as the true and wise blue print for the righteous life that would make God proud of us. Now that I have said that, here is a scripture that I feel covers the topic very well.
1st Corinthians 13:4
4 Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud.5 It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs.6 Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth.7 It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.
This my friends is a scripture from the bible highlighting attributes that everyone and their grandmother would say are good qualities to have. These are the things you should add. These things should be your “content”. These things should be a part of your “blue print”. These are qualities that everyone would consider “good fruit“. These are the things we teach little children to aspire to. These are the things that should continue well into adult-hood. It takes wisdom and courage to seek and absorb good sources of learning. So, I ask again, what is your content, what is your blue print, what kind of tree are you?
Hello everyone and thank you for visiting. In this article I will be sharing with you some of the information in my book “The Awareness Formula”. Now, we have all seen this “popular” bumper sticker, some of us perhaps
feeling a little indifferent about it. However, how many of you ever thought about it from a predator’s perspective? Someone who stalks children as a hobby. All of sudden this sticker loses a lot of it’s popularity in your mind. Really think about it, your children are your most valuable and vulnerable assets. Why would you broadcast to everyone where they will be for the next eight hours while you are away from them at work? Think about it, a predator has all he needs if he decides to target you. He can follow you directly to the school, follow you to work or home, and get to know your patterns and make a plan. Now, this may seem negative to some, however, it is a reality that I have seen repeatedly in my line of work. So meditate on how many things in this life though popularized are very dangerous to embrace.

1.Be aware that most rapes are committed by someone the victim knows.
2. Be aware of your surroundings
3. Due to my knowledge about the dark things that happen, and the types of individuals that frequent them I ADVISE AGAINST going to clubs. However, if you must go be sure to:
A. Stick with friends
B. Drink responsibly
C. Never leave your drink unattended
4. If someone is making unwanted advances in any setting DO NOT feel any remorse in telling them to back off! Many predators will use the familiarity of a club, party, or a work setting to try and work on you. You are well within your rights to tell them NO in a firm manner. If they decide that you are the “B word” then they are not a good person to interact with anyway.
5. DO NOT broadcast your plans on the internet or social media, remember “most sexual assaults are committed by someone the victim knows”.
Be very, very, careful about meeting up with people you meet online. I advise against it.
6. Be careful about texting or surfing on your phone or listening to your ipod out alone, these two items limit your sight and your hearing. Remember, predators prefer easy targets, a person not looking or listening makes an easy target.
7. If you are out anywhere alone do not simply stroll, walk with a purpose and get to where you are going.
8. If you notice you are being followed make eye contact with the perpetrator, it may feel uncomfortable but it may keep you safe.
9. I encourage everyone to invest in their personal safety either by a safety device like a stun gun, pepper spray, knife, or martial arts like my system Shu Ha Ri Do.
10. When you are entering your home, scan your surroundings. Look at the front and sides of your house, the front windows and the door. Make sure you have everything ready to go in do not linger at the side of your car, do not fumble around for your keys, have them ready.
12. Once you are safely in your home and comfortable. Please be mindful not to have your blinds or curtains wide open at night time or in a fashion where a predator can peep in on you. If you like to have your blinds and curtains open during the day you should make yourself aware of what that looks like from the outside. Make sure you are aware of what the view into your house looks like during the day. When you close your curtains or blinds for the night also be sure that there are no cracks or openings. Be aware, that a predator like a Peeping Tom, can work himself up into such a frenzy by watching you in your private moments that he will become determined to attack at the first opportunity. In many cases it is a neighbor.

In a world where when you least expect it danger can be right around the corner. Why on earth, would this be a good idea?
Ask yourself two more questions about the above picture .
“How does a predator see this”
“What opportunities does it create for him/her”
You see, pop culture or more specifically “popular culture” can start an action that becomes a trend or a style. Once that happens the masses copy without a second thought. Whatever you do in this world you must always think, “safety first”. You must think of it like this…
The action may seem innocent, cool, trendy, fun, stylish, and everyone is doing it but, the question is, does it make you or your family vulnerable in any way?
If you look at everything this way then threats are neutralized and regret or guilt for the result is not a factor. The world is not our personal playground although we can have fun, we have a responsibility to ourselves and our family. The bumper sticker above is not the only popular trend that so many have copied without thinking, it is a part of a bigger problem in the minds of people.
HERE ARE SOME AREAS YOU SHOULD EXAMINE TO FIX THE PROBLEM…
Examine your daily routine and see if there are any areas where you have adopted an action as part of your routine but you don’t have a good reason for doing it.
Examples of a routine include when you leave or come back to your home
Finally, if you can identify any parts of those areas where your actions make you or your family vulnerable then you should change that routine, period!
The list above sheds light on the main areas that people establish routines in their lives. Much of it is copied behavior and from my knowledge of the criminal and opportunistic mind, there are many vulnerabilities that could be exploited. Some parts of the list are obviously risky. If those things are a part of your life, be honest with yourself. Seek help if necessary but be honest for the sake of your safety and those you love. With that being said I encourage everyone to simply examine their days to minimize opportunities that a predator might exploit. These concepts are woven into my martial arts system Shu Ha Ri Do. My teachings are for the total man and woman. Mind, body, and spirit, and self mastery under the Kingdom of Heaven. They are covered in depth in all of my books. For more information on this subject I encourage everyone to review my book “THE AWARENESS FORMULA”. Although, the cover shows children boarding a school bus, the book is not just for children. Within The Awareness Formula are profound concepts for adults, mothers, fathers, etc.
Meditate for a second on the incredible vision of a fly.
A fly’s eye is made up of what are called ommatidia
which are basically photo receptors that provide the fly with visual information about it’s environment. The average fly has more than 3300 ommatidia. Each ommatidia is like an eye unto itself. So in summary, what a fly sees is reproduced more than 3300 times. A fly’s vision is incredible. So, here’s the question, if the fly could see the spiders web
would he still get caught in it? With all that eye power why didn’t it see the web? Perhaps, the answer is because the spider is good at what he does.
Realize that the “spider” is good at what he does.
If you ever were caught, and freed yourself from the “web” would you fly in that direction again? If so what could possibly entice you to continue the same self destructive flight pattern? What could be worth entrapping yourself again? If you did happen to free yourself be aware that you only barely escaped the web weaver.
One mindset you must adopt in order to embrace the Shu Ha Ri Do Warrior’s Code is to learn how not to victimize your own self.
